CBR research studiesMass Active Audiences: the impact of war on financial behavior
In May of this year, the CBR company conducted an online survey among Ukrainians aged 25-50 who lived in cities with a population of 50,000+ in Ukraine until February 24, 2022.
According to study results, about half of the respondents were forced to leave their homes after 24.02.2022: 13% have already managed to return home (these are mostly residents of Kyiv and the North); 27% are not at home, but in Ukraine; and 10% are currently abroad. Moreover, among those who are currently abroad, 22% have no plans to return to Ukraine; 13% have already managed to get a job in the country of their current residence; and 55% opened accounts and got payment cards in banks abroad.
